I feel it is helpful, especially now that the dryer weather is here, it adds extra moisture without any heaviness. It does help with my unevenness and the look of hydrated skin. I have been using this product now for several years and love what it does for my skin. Each morning when I gently wash my face, I remove dry skin flakes from my face. It leaves my complexion looking bright. Over time it will completely remove any slight discoloration in my skin. It does not dry my skin either...highly recommend.
