I prefer tinted because it doesn't leave a ghostly cast on the skin. It has a matte finish, not shiny or greasy looking. If I apply it to my entire face two x per day, one container will last me 6-7 weeks.

Blends in well even on fair skin

I used to use another brand until I finally decided to purchase Elta MD UV Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF 46 Sunscreen after reading rave reviews all over the place. The last sunscreen I used went on sort of "greasy" but this is like a light lotion. I love that it targets hyperpigmented skin, which I struggle with, as well as acne prone skin. It needs only a few seconds to sink in. And it lasts forever! I bought my daughter a bottle and I am still finishing up my first bottle that I started using at the end of July. For the price point, it's a fantastic find!

I like it, but I’ve ordered two that have had issues with the pump
I have ordered EltaMD for a few years... I super love it, its my fav! Face isn’t greasy, it really does get rid of the redness, but I have had 2 (including my most recent purchase here) where the pump has issues working (hence minus a star), but you really can’t get a better sunscreen for the face.

Good Lightweight Facial Sunscreen for Oily Skin
I have oily skin that's prone to clogged pores. Most sunscreens would result in more acne or an oily face. They would also feel like an uncomfortable layer on top of my skin. Thankfully, this sunscreen goes on without a cast and feels light on the skin. I'm more motivated to wear it whenever I go out now. Now I want to try their tinted facial sunscreen.
