I have long loved the untinted version of this sunscreen and it is the one product that protects my skin in both the high altitude mountains and the beach, both of which I frequent. Not greasy and I do not break out. I came to this brand after trying many others. I love that a tint has been added and its fairly neutral in color. A great product

Good stuff
With my years of acne and rosacea, I have used every product under the sun to clear up my acne. From natural products to very harsh. So my skin is sensitive to say the least. I feel this product is very light on my skin, and does not feel greasy at all. It is a physical, not a chemical sunscreen. I have noticed avobenzene makes my eyes burn and this product does not have that. It goes on pretty clear, maybe a little bit white. I have used other physical sunscreens, claiming to go on clear, and I looked like I used white paint!

BEST SUNSCREEN
I think I would cry if Elta MD ever discontinued this. This sunscreen is so light and non-greasy! I have combination skin and sweat pretty easily in the summer, so I wear it alone. But, in the winter I pair it with Elta MD AM Therapy for added hydration. Great product and worth every penny!

Terrible Packaging
I really like the sunscreen but the packaging is a complete failure. I recently bought 4 bottles for my family and out of the 4 only 1 pump worked. Since the bottle is a sealed container there is no way to get to the product short of cutting it in half.

Excellent for Oily Skin

REALLY DOESNT BREAK YOU OUT
I have tried many high quality sunscreens that claim to be acne friendly/ noncomedogenic, but they never are. I always find that other brands end up either making me look like a pizza face or a grease monkey. Well, the search is over! This sunscreen not only has all the right ingredients to make it an effective sunscreen, but it also lives up to its claim as acne safe. It goes perfectly under my makeup and never pills or balls up when I apply foundation. It works, its good for your skin, and Ive never had any hyperpigmentation from the sun while this product is on my face. LOVE IT!

Didnt work on my face
Id tried another eltamd spf before (with Hyaluronic acid) and had liked it very much. This one is great in terms of application and consistency (no stickiness, white cast, shine, etc), but after a few seconds my face turned red. I continued using it on my neck and chest, but it reacted badly on my face everytime. Dont know why, because it contains the same ingredients of another sunscreen Id bought and that one was fine. Probably just my body chemistry. Love the eltamd sunscreens though and would continue buying the others!

I had this sunscreen recommended to me by a dermatologist. It does the best job of giving my skin sun protection without creating new acne breakouts for me. I even tried another name-brand product, only to switch back to this product. Although it is pricey, it does last a whole year for me as a little goes a long ways.

i like that this sunscreen is not overly greasy, however the problem may be that over the course of the day, i find the layer of sunscreen gets pretty dry, and i wonder if that is preventing my skin from breathing, and causing it to clog. i have skin that is naturally oily, so i like to keep it well moisturized and in balance. over-washing or drying out my skin in the past has lead to acne, and i still have mild to moderate acne now, which improves if i keep my skin properly balanced and moisturized. i dont think the product itself clogs my pores at all, it is more that it makes it a bit dry and stiff towards the end of the day, which my type of skin does not like, and i have noticed bumps forming after a day of wearing this. i may try to remove the product in late afternoon and see if that helps.

Cheaper than my doctors office

The best sunscreen for Acne-prone skin!
About a year ago, I had an intense and painful acne breakout. Cystic-ance and all. I was put on antibiotics, which worked miracles. My sister, who works in a dermatology office, suggested this sunscreen. I use this sunscreen in the morning, and Retin-A at night. This sunscreen is the absolute best, and I never miss a day of protecting my skin! It is lightweight and helps reduce redness. I tried other products, but everything pales in comparison!
