Hope to help others w/ similar skin
Ive never reacted so badly to a product in my whole life. My skin is fairly sensitive, slight rosacea (most people just think my cheeks are a very light pink) light complexion, mostly dry but oily forehead, almost never a pimple and 41 yrs old. Used sunscreen one time and the next day my whole face was bright red, itchy, burning and hot to the touch. In addition my cheeks and sides of face were covered with pustules to the point that they were more of a rash. I had to put ice gel packs on my face all day as I had a public speaking commitment that evening. I also used a washcloth (and magnifying mirror) to gently break all pustules and lightly cleansed. By night it looked like a moderate sunburn but it took almost 2 wks to fully recover including flushing hot cheeks. Apparently I am allergic to this product, so hoping others will do a test before slathering it on!

Feels like silk!
Cant say enough about this sunscreen. Forget the thick, oily feeling that several sunscreens leave your skin feeling like. Elta MD clear can even be put on before you apply your makeup, leaving your face shine free. Love this product!!!!!!!!!

Great Product
While my skin isnt excessively oily naturally (just the normal T-zone with black heads) many sunscreen/moisturizer would make it oily and/or give me break outs. I found this product while reading some blogs written by dermatologists and decided to give it a try. Im so glad I did because it is exactly what I was looking for. It goes on very smooth, almost silky. It does have a slight white cast at first but it absorbs in a few minutes. Ive been using it for about a month and there is no oily shine, my pores look smaller, I have less black heads and my skin even feels softer! This is a GREAT product no matter what skin type you have.

Exactly as promised! ....which rarely happens
I got this product upon reading about it twice in InStyle magazines best products issue. It is truly everything it says it is. No grease, no shine, no breakouts, just a great matte finish. Ive used a bunch of supposedly non greasy or non acnegenic sunscreens before and have always been disappointed but not this time. The niacinamide seems to calm everything down and just make your skin look amazing. I dont think Ill ever use anything else.

I needed a sunscreen that was good for my acne prone combination skin and this was voted best in Instyle magazine. It feels really lite on the skin and doesnt make my skin oily. Just be sure to rub completely in as Im caramel complexioned and it can look a little white at first if I dont take my time in application.

Ive used several Elta MD sunscreen products. SPF 46 1.7 oz comes with a pump, applies smooth and feels good on my face. I wish it had a slight tint and the pump unscrewed. SPF 41 comes in a tube (also hard to get the last drops and comes in a tube)...

Best facial sunscreen
This is by far the best facial sunscreen I have ever used. I am very fair-skinned and need a high SPF. In my experience, other facial sunscreens with an SPF over 15 have been very greasy and dont wear well under makeup. Elta MDs SPF 46 is never greasy and feels very soothing on the skin. My skin is also acne prone, so this formula is perfect for me. It never clogs my pores or causes further breakouts. It is pricey for the amount, but I will continue to purchase it over and over again.

Only facial sunscreen I can use. Period.
I am 55 years old, but still cannot put anything on my face that has oil or harsh chemicals without breaking out in acne. I cannot even put most oil free products on my face including foundations, cleansers, moisturizers or sunscreens without breaking out. This sunscreen is perfect. I can wear it every day and it acts as sunscreen and moisturizer. Extremely lightweight and sheer, it leaves my skin smooth for foundation application. Also, whenever I would return from vacations in the past I always had to get a facial because my skin would be so congested below the surface from wearing sunscreen every day. I did NOT wear sunscreen daily when not on vacation, just hid from the sun with hats and sunglasses. Now, I freely apply this sunscreen every morning and it has never caused one single issue. I am on my 3rd pump bottle now. It lasts a very long time, as you do not even need an entire pump to cover your face. I only squeeze it halfway and its more than enough. Best sunscreen ever.
