Shiny!
I wanted to love this so badly. I have combination/oily t-zone and acne-prone skin. The sounded like a godsend. Unfortunately, it leaves me SO shiny after application. I’ve even sat in front of a fan to try to dry it. I’ve tried with and without my normal serums underneath to see if there’s a difference. The tint is great, but I hate how oily/shiny it makes me look. It has a very thin, wet consistency.

Very Good Sunscreen for Acne/Colored Skin
I have extremely sensitive, acne-prone skin. I've had a hard time using sunscreens in the past, especially physical sunscreens or other products with a white cast - often such products would lead to horrendous breakouts and excessive pilling on top of moisturizers. It's because of this that I started using moisturizers with SPF in them, but was told that wouldn't be enough. I was desperate to find a good SPF to add, and that's when I decided to purchase this product. This sunscreen was amazing. It does apply on as a white-cast initially, but fades out within 10-20 seconds. I use a full pump and can cover my face and neck easily. It doesn't feel heavy and has never made me break out. I was confused at the addition of lactic acid into a sunscreen formulation because I was worried about "acid + sunlight" but overall I think it helped. I don't wear too much makeup, but I haven't noticed any pilling as of yet. I would say the con is probably the size and price, I would appreciate if the bottle was a little bigger especially if I am using an entire pump per day.

Great product! I have acne prone skin, but I saw great improvement and my skin did not break out with this product. I highly recommend it! It absorbs wonderfully into the skin and does not leave a white cast. It also does great under makeup!

I’ve tried many facial sunscreen products over the years and, in my opinion, EltaMD is absolutely the best by far. This facial sunscreen does not feel like a mask but instead is so light that I forget I have it on. I apply my moisturizer first and next my sunscreen which leaves my skin radiant and fresh looking.
