I’ve been using EltaMD Skincare for many years at the recommendation of my dermatologist. It is by far my favorite face sunscreen. I’ve tried others but they are not as good. I have an olive complexion and live in SWFL so I use the Tinted one but they are all great. I wear under my makeup or alone when going to the beach or pool. I highly recommend this product!

Light Weight & Fragrance Free
I have been using Elta MD sun blocks for years, usually the waterproof sport ones. On a whim, I decided to try the UV clear facial sunblock, and I was not disappointed. I love how light weight it is, I can feel my skin absorbing it. It really protects with no weird fragrances, so no skin irritation. I recommend Elta MD UV Clear.

The best sunscreen for your face!
I've been using this sunscreen for years. It's the best on the market for sun protection, acne prone & easily irritated skin. The tinted color is pretty universal and does not leave a shiny, greasy sheen which is huge for me. I am oily in my t-zone and can be dry around my mouth. This works great for all areas of my face. Prior to using this, I had Mohs surgery to remove a basal cell from my face. Since using this starting in 2016, I've been basal cell free (knock on wood!). Don't forget to reapply. That's the hardest part to remember :)

I've been using it only because my dermatologist told me to, and I imagine that it gives great protection, but when applied it forms lumps. Even if I only pat it on the skin, when I apply the makeup foundation with a brush, sponge, or fingers, the product forms lumps.

Near Perfect
The Elta MD SPF 46 was my go to Sunscreen when I was allowed to use sunscreen after my laser skin resurfacing. I researched and it had the purest ingredients and helped to protect my skin. It was gentle and goes on super smooth, but did shine a little. I use Jane Iredale light powder to cover the sheen. I would give it a 5, but it did not protect my skin enough and after a driving my face still turned reddish. I will order it again to use on some days because it is super gentle.

I use ELTA MD spf 46 everyday. I like that it is lightly tinted, easy to apply and clean off. It protects my face from sun damage in California and Hawaii. It does NOT irritate my eyes at all. I actually apply it over my eye lids also. I’ve used it for years after my dermatologist suggested it.
