My dermatologist recommended this to protect my skin from the sun. He asked if I always wear sunscreen in the sun and when I answered not always he told me to take Heliocare. I can't say exactly what it is doing because I don't know what would happen if I wasn't taking it. However, I have noticed a couple of age spots fade away since taking this. I will continue to take this product.

No news is good news, I suppose
I have been taking one of these capsules with a full glass of water every day for just over two months. I haven’t had any bad reactions, no digestive issues, or anything unpleasant happen since taking them. I have no idea if they are helping to keep my skin protected or not because I never go outside without sunscreen, a hat, and all of my skin covered, but I figure that it can’t hurt and I’ll do anything reasonable to protect myself.

Does the trick
I was a little skeptical on this purchase. My dermatologist suggested this. to me due to having different types of Lupus/Autoimmune problems. I am still new with taking it. However having an active “flare” for over 10 months... it has allowed me to be outside with minimal itching/blistering. Also have not experienced any side effects with this product!

Trying for melasma
I like that this is one pill per day. I am seeing some improvement in my existing melasma, but I'm not 100 percent sure it's from this pill, as I use several brightening products. But I have super stubborn melasma and topicals have been of little help, so I think it's probably helping and I'll likely repurchase for at least another month. Additional sun protection can't hurt when you're using exfoliants as I do.

New to Heliocare and will stay the course
I read reviews of all skin and supplement products before buying and I tend to lean toward natural skin and health care items. Heliocare has been recommended by so many users and dermatologists. I am on my second bottle of Heliocare and can’t say I have noticed any changes. I am taking twice a day for the summer and will move to daily in fall through winter. I was a tanning bed junkie in late 80s to early 90s and at 53 had my first BCC removed on my thigh in February. I have been good about using sunscreen spf 30 and 50 when I am outside but feel the need for extra protection from free radicals by taking this supplement. I eat a healthy diet, exercise daily and very mindful of sun protection. I feel Heliocare will help in my battle against past and future sun damage. I will stay the course and see if I notice changes in my skin.

My sunscreen backup
I’m a sunscreen junkie anyway, so when I listened to a YouTube presentation on the benefits of Heliocare, backed by clinical studies, I decided to add Heliocare to my daily regimen. So, there’s really no objective way of seeing it work, and I’m certainly not going to take it without using sunscreen, so crossing my fingers and hoping the research is solid.

Unsure If They Really Work
I got these when I was a month into my second round of accutane because I saw the reviews about others who were on that same medication that these worked for, but I can't say they really did anything. It's hard to tell because my dosage might have been stronger, but I always slathered sunscreen on before going into the sun, and without fail had a pinkish face at the end of the day.
