Maybe I'm the exception?
I had high hopes for this product and wanted to love it, but my experience has been a bit underwhelming. While it’s an effective vitamin C, I haven’t seen the improvement I expected after using it consistently. Holy grail
This is most people's holy grail of serums for a reason. It stinks, but wow does it work! I had SO much hyperpigmentation on the sides of my face and now it is tolerable with no makeup, along with the triple lipid moisturizer. It does settle in pores a little and makes brown spots in some of them, but it doesn't break me out and they clean right out!

I have used many vitamin C serums and there are many I like, but this one is definitely superior. It absorbs into my skin in a fast manner, is very light weight once absorbed, and appears to help make up go on flawlessly. It is definitely higher priced, so I only purchase once it goes on sale.
