Leaves my skin dry
This product is very good. I have been using it for years. It brightens and smooths but tends to leave my skin very dry esp in the winter. I need a heavy moisturizer when wearing this and often times use oil over it to help with the drying. I have tried other vitamin C, and they do not dry me out as much but are not as effective as this product.

Best serum, hands-down
My facialist introduced me to this serum several years ago and I noticed significant improvements in the texture, brightness, and overall appearance of my skin. However, it is expensive, so I tried other serums from other brands with similar ingredients. I might have saved some money, but the other products were not very effective. It had the potential for YES!
I currently use another brand of an vitamin C serum and received a number of this serum in sample sizes. The first immediate thing I noticed was the smell. Couldn't put my finger in what it reminded me of; a little smoky. I don't want to smell like anything especially when it lingers. Undoubtedly ,any SkinCeuticals product is high quality with ingredients that make a difference and this Vit C serum had the exact formula I was looking for. Unfortunately, the scent alone makes this a deal-breaker and have decided to keep looking (or stay with what I already use).

Amazing like Bacon!
This stuff is amazing! I wasn't sure what to expect when my husband brought this home for me, but I love it! I've seen such a change in my face---it's smoother, more even skin tone. I was worried about putting it on in the morning since I also have moisturizer, concealer and foundation, but there is nothing to worry about! I put it on, it dries quickly and then I go along my normal routine. One tiny tiny drawl back is the smell—it's not bad it's just unusual. That goes away to though. Buy it! Worth it!

Worth the cost! Great formulation / ingredients
I was initially hesitant spending the money to buy this product, but it was well worth it. First, the ingredients are amazing and aren't filled with a bunch on nonsense. Vitamin C is the 3rd ingredient on the list, which is awesome. It's Paraben-Free, Sulfate-Free, Alcohol-Free, and Silicone-Free. Such a great product and worth the price. Plus it lasts a while (I go through 1 bottle in about 2-3 months) so you don't need to make this purchase every month. A little goes a long way.

Absorbs well
I started using retinol so ordered this to complement it. The product absorbs well and there is no sign of sunburn from sun exposure, so I guess the product works well. I did notice that my nasolabial lines don’t get deeper throughout the day, so I guess it works.
