Not Sure about This Product
I know that this is the gold standard for vitamin C serums. I had used it a few years ago and loved the results. This time, I really didn't see much changed in my skin after using the entire bottle. And because of its high cost and minimal improvement I decided not to repurchase.

C E Ferulic serum reaction
This serum, unfortunately, highlights areas on my face in orange. According to my board certified dermatologist, I am the second patient of hers who has had this appear. She recently returned from a seminar in NYC presented by SkinCeuticals and is reporting this side effect to them. This has caused some consternation, as I recently purchased the serum from LovelySkin for $182.00 plus tax. I am extremely fair and perhaps, because of that, the serum shows a reaction more clearly than on someone with more pigment in their skin. The splotchiness is not attractive!

Best Vitamin C Serum
I stopped using this product, and I think I'm paying the price for that. I've got sun spots and some fine lines and wrinkles, especially on my forehead. This is an expensive product, but it does produce results, and is worth the price. I watched a YouTube dermatologist who usually scoffs at the high-end skin care products, but even she said if you're going to use a Vitamin C product, this is the one that has research backing up its effectiveness. My order including C E Ferulic arrives tomorrow, and I can't wait to resume using it.

I have used vitamin C dupes for over 10 years from various companies. I thought all vitamin C products were the same but I was stunned by the results I got from this vitamin C. Literally, the very first time I tried this product, my skin looked glowing. It also caused some mild exfoliation at first, which shocked me since I use tretinoin. I wish the vitamin C dupes worked this well for me because I would love to save money but now that I've used this vitamin C, I can't stop using it. I will never stop buying this. I have been using this serum on and off since 2018. During the pandemic I have to stop all retinoids and start to use only this serum, moisturizer and sunblock. My hyperpigmentation decrease in 50 % and the glow and complexion of my skin was very noticeable. Last year I restarted a prescribed retinoid and in conjunction with this serum my skin is at its best. So consider add CE ferulic serum with your retinoid and you will have the best antiaging combo!
