I had high hopes, I loved the sample so bought a full size bottle. The first week of using it made my skin look so supple and glowing, friends outright commented on the appearance of my skin, asking what I was using. After around 2 weeks I started to break out in small white heads near my nose chin and cheeks. Such a bummer because I was loving the initial results but I’m afraid to continue using it. I never break out so this was certainly due to the triple lipid restore. I love other skinceutical products but won’t be buying this again.

From a product perspective, this moisturizer is a 10/10. Makes my skin feel so incredibly soft, literally zero dryness since starting this. However, I don’t understand how in this day and age, we are still putting nice, expensive products in little pots that you continually dip your fingers into and further contaminate. There are so many different options for dispensing face moisturizer and I wish Skinceuticals would switch to one of those rather than this.

I love the silky texture of this face cream. I use it in the evening and it absorbs quickly into my skin. It is a heavier cream but is quite hydrating. It's not greasy. In the morning, my face is super soft. For reference, I have mature skin (nearly 60yo). As our skin ages and changes (and a different climate for me), our products have to change as well. I was really afraid to spend money on this moisturizer. But I heard a lot of good things!!! I love it over my Retna a! I just finished a jar, I feel this might be my favorite moisturizer.
