My skin is accustomed to retinol so I do not have a problem using a .5 retinol. After absorbing into my skin, my skin does not feel tacky. Very smooth feeling. I don't feel the retinol is helping to reduce my crow's feet.

I've used SkinMedica for years but had never tried the Retinol Complex .5. I followed the instructions by using twice a week and increasing as my skin tolerated. It does cause flaking but I use a moisturizing facemask when this is visible and it keeps the flaking under control. This product has made a big difference in the redness and blotchy spots. It will last a long time because you use so little so infrequent. I highly recommend.

I can’t seem to go wrong with SkinMedica’s retinol products. I’ve worked my way my up from .25. After trying other products ranging from modest to quite costly I always return to SM. What a difference this SkinMedica retinol 0.5 has made in my skin. My face is a lot brighter, pores seem smaller and skin smoother.
