I had to wait almost 4 months to receive this system as it was back ordered, but it was worth the wait! I was using another well-known system and it was working ok, but I wanted something that would smooth my skin, fade dark spots, tighten pores, and just overall make my skin better. This is definitely it! I have been very happy with the results after just 3 months of use, and I’m looking forward to seeing the transformation of my skin in the months to come. I’ve been using the blender with a prescription Tretinoin and eased into using it since it can make your skin very raw. The overall change in the clarity and smoothness of my skin is something brand new to me. It’s been an amazing difference since when I started, so much so that I wish I had taken pictures of the before and after. I do think it’s important to use the majority of products from the same line and they do work well together. I would recommend this system to anyone with sensitive skin who is looking to have more even skin tone and soft, supple, and smooth skin.

I have been searching for a vitamin C/vitamin C alternative to add to my skincare routine. I’ve tried so many different products from various brands without success. I had high hopes for this product because of the Obagi name and claim that it can be used on sensitive skin, but my skin is just too sensitive. Something in the ingredient list did not work well with my skin. The product was silky and went on smoothly with no immediate skin reaction, but after a couple hours my skin would be red and itchy. This was the only new product I introduced, so sadly I knew it had to be the culprit. I stopped using it and reintroduced it a couple times and every time I got the same result. I gave the product to my sister who has normal skin, and she loved it. It just didn’t work for me.

After using it for several weeks, here is my thorough review: Pros: Contains the key Obagi cleanser, toner, and blender to simplify routine Potent prescription-strength 4% hydroquinone for pigmentation Powerful retinol cream to increase cell turnover Helped even my skin tone and reduce dark marks significantly Products feel very medical-grade in quality and efficacy Cons: Very expensive original retail cost. Can cause irritation, peeling at first as skin adjusts Overall, this Obagi kit lives up to the brand's reputation for dramatic anti-aging results, albeit at a premium cost. I purchased this after sampling my daughter's tube, and I'm liking it from several standpoints. I.e. it offers great protection with its combo of titanium dioxide and zinc oxide; it has a pleasing tint that compliments my semi-fair complexion; and it has a light lotion texture. It may be a bit "liquid-y" for those who prefer a creamier sunscreen, but it applies nicely for me and eliminates any greasy-face appearance.
