I have tried so many cleansers, some that cost upwards of $85, this does the same thing. Super gentle, doesn't leave my skin feeling dry, removes my sunscreen and light makeup. I find myself using just one product, if heavier makeup still need to double cleanse though with an oil based.

I started using Vanicream Dandruff Shampoo on the recommendation of my dermatologist, and it has been excellent. I only need it occasionally, but whenever my scalp gets dry, itchy, or flaky, this clears things up quickly. I also appreciate how pure and simple the formula is — it isn’t full of unnecessary additives, which fits with its old “Free & Clear” name. It’s fragrance free as well, which is a big plus for me. One thing to note is that it can leave your hair feeling very “squeaky” clean, so you’ll probably want to follow with a conditioner or detangler. Even with occasional use (about once every few weeks), it works reliably and keeps my scalp comfortable. For anyone looking for an effective, no‑nonsense dandruff shampoo, I would highly recommend it.

I use a topical prescription to address hair loss, and my doctor recommended I use this shampoo since it is simple and gentle. I've been fairly happy with it. My only complaint is that is is kind of thin and runny. I wish it was a little thicker. I will, however, continue using it.
