Finally!
I have had trouble finding a suncreen/moisturizer that I like to wear under makeup. I have found, with this product, I don't need a foundation whatsoever. However, if your skin needs foundation, this product is perfect to wear under it as well. It's truly wonderful. It smells great, feels fresh when you apply it, stays on and is perfect as a base for my blush, powder, etc. Blends well with my under eye concealer as well. I would highly recommend!

I have suffered with acne since I was a teenager, and, along with adult acne, I was "lucky" enough to develop melasma as well. I've had laser treatment to help with my melasma, but was told I would have to wear sunscreen daily ... Really?! The only thing I knew sunscreen would do is cause more and more acne breakouts! A friend introduced to me EltaMD products, told me she loved them, and that I should try them out. Well, I've used this product for about 2 full weeks now and have not had any trouble with acne breakouts! My skin actually feels great, doesn't look oily, and I also feel good knowing I'm protecting my skin from any more sun damage all with one product!! Exactly What I wanted!
It is not the first time that I have purchased this sunscreen, my dermatologist initially suggested it to me and I have been using it ever since. I like that it is clear, no whitish or sun tint to it: when I run out to go to the gym I do not want to use a towel to wipe sweat from my face and leave a beige stain all over it ... Or if I am wearing something light with a collar: I do not want to have markings all over my clothing either! So EltaMD Clear does the trick for me.

Zero breakouts
I've had a lot of trouble finding face sunscreens that don't cause me to breakout, but this one has never been an issue. If anything, my skin might look clearer when using it. The texture is a little bit...slick? Maybe silicone? Once it dries, however, it's easy to apply makeup or other products over. Don't expect it to moisturize your skin much, however, so if you have combination skin, I'd suggest using your moisturizer first and then following up with this.

This was suggested by an aesthetician because I have rosacea. I have been using it for about a month and it has not irritated my skin. I appreciate that it is surprisingly thin and blends easily without an oily sheen. It does provide sun protection but I have not tested it with a full day of being outside. My one complaint is that, for a product that needs to be reapplied every two hours, the bottle is small.

Best facial sunscreen ever!
Elta MD makes the best sunscreens available. I know because I have tried them all! This sunscreen offers the best sun protection since it's a physical sunscreen but yet it doesn't feel like you''re wearing sunscreen. In the summer, I just wear the tinted sunscreen without any foundation and I'm set to go. The tint naturally blends in to your own skin tone.

So far, quite good
I've only been using this for a week so far, so I can't speak to its long-term effect on acne compared with other sunscreens, but I like using the product. One pump seems to be the perfect amount to cover my face. The tint matches my skin just fine no major coverage, but looks smoother than bare skin. I wish it dried a little more matte, but it's not bad. I like that it contains lactic acid and niacinamide. It spreads easily, and has no discernable odor. I sometimes add bronzer, blush, luminizer, or finishing powder over it, and it doesn't affect any of those, as far as I can tell. I haven't put any other cream or liquid foundations over it. I would try other EltaMD products, seems like a good brand.

Great for oily/acne prone skin
I've only been using this for a few weeks but already I am so pleased with it that I'm buying more. I appreciate how much lighter it is than my other sunscreens so I can reapply and not feel like I'm buried under 3 layers of goo on a hot day. I have melasma so I am probably hyper-vigilant about my sun exposure, and am so glad to have found this product. I'm very prone to breakouts, too, so I don't switch products very often, but I actually think my skin is LESS oily and more clear with this sunscreen, perhaps because of the niacinamide. Give it a try!
