This is great for the summer, but can sometimes be a tad drying. Overall its still one of the best sunscreens to put on under makeup!

Another Good SPF from Elta MD
This product is recommended in my dermatologist office. I have used the untinted for many years with great success. At first I did not like the tinted. It seemed dark and my complexion is light. I decided to give the tinted a second try. So far it has worked out well. The color very subtly evens out red but does not cover acne or dark circles. It does give a healthy wash of color. I think I will continue to use it, same great formula as the untinted. It would be great if they offer a third shade option at some point.

Great sunscreen
My dermatologist recommended this facial screen after doing a chemical peel and I am so glad she did! It's lightweight and easy to apply. It doesn't make my face white like other physical sunscreens do. It provides great sun protection. It's a great product!

A must have...
My dermatologist recommended this product and I'm glad I decided to purchase it. I don't get the white cast from the sunblock and it also doesn't leave me oily (which has always been an issue with other sunscreens). This will definitely be a favorite go-to sunscreen of mine.

Unacceptably streaky
The tint doesnt dry evenly on your face. It looks okay at first but then a few minutes later its splotchy. I am Latina and have olive skin so I imagine the effect would be even worse on paler skin. Maybe I got a poorly mixed batch?

Excellent SPF for everyday use
I use this SPF everyday on patients as it is great for sensitive, post procedure skin. It's very moisturizing and makeup applies wonderfully after application. My only complaint is the temporary change in the pump but it still works well.

I waited until my bottle was almost empty before reviewing, and Im buying it again! No breakouts, no extremes of dryness or greasiness ( I do apply lightweight moisturizer underneath this- my skin is dry AND prone to breakouts ), the pump dispenser works very well to control the amount I want to use, and the sunscreen actives did not bother me at all. I like how it feels, and Im amazed at how invisible this product is on my skin. I am very happy with Lovely Skins service and easy-to-navigate site. I like it, but its not perfect
The texture feels light. While it does not seem to add moisture, it doesnt dry my skin, either. It does not sting my eyes. I like that it has a high percentage of zinc oxide, though if I look carefully, a faint tinge of white is evident on my medium skin. My main complaint is that I cannot layer it over SkinMedica C+E serum. Ive experimented with varying amounts and dry-times of the serum, but I think the ingredients (probably the silicones) just dont meld well and instead create particles on my face that are not easily brushed away. On clean, bare skin, I do like this product.

Streaky!!
I was so excited about this product. It goes on nicely and makes my skin feel very smooth, but I cant use it! It leaves tinted streaks all across my face. I dont know if I got a bad batch or what but Im very disappointed :( but the color and texture are very nice. I think Ill try the UV Clear untinted instead.

Best SPF for Acne Prone Skin
Ive used this product for many years at the recommendation of my dermatologist. Ive used countless other SPFs but always return to this one. It is extremely light, pleasant feeling, and improves the appearance of the skin. The only con is the expense but I wait until its on sale to purchase then stock up.

My Ultimate Everyday Wear
I love, love, love this sunscreen. I use it as an everyday moisturizer. I love the fact it is tinted and I can use it as a quick run around town makeup, but it is clean and clear and not thick and messy like regular makeup and it is easy to wash off at the end of the day, plus it gives me the added protection my derm. is always reminding me about ("dont forget sunscreen").

Beautiful finish with no irritation or breakouts
Ive been using the EltaMD UV Clear sunscreen for the past few years and will continue to repurchase. I have very sensitive skin with rosacea and this sunscreen has never caused irritation or breakouts. I was initially drawn to it because it contains a good amount of niacinamide, an ingredient I was interested in for its ability to even skin tone and lighten pigmentation. This is a sunscreen I use on days where I have incidental exposure to sun, not for a day at the beach. I use sunscreens with a higher level of protection for days in the sun. A major plus for the UV Clear, aside from amazingly never causing a single breakout or spot, is the finish it leaves on my skin. I know the product is described as matte, but I get a more natural look that I would consider almost luminous. Dont be scared! Its no highlighter and there are no glittery particles. I just know I look more "alive" with the soft finish it provides. In the summer I can use this with nothing underneath but in cooler months it is crucial that I wear a moisturizer. That said, I do not believe UV Clear is a drying formula, it is just not especially moisturizing. I would prefer to moisturize underneath when needed anyway. If you have sensitive skin and are not irritated by niacinamide, this product is definitely worth checking out.

My All Time Favorite
Ive tried them all and keep coming back to this product for excellent, lightweight, every day broad spectrum sun protection. This is the one that wont leave a white grease slick on your skin. My derm loves it, my husband (who hates sunscreen) loves it, and I love it. If you dont like it enough to use it every day, it wont work, and this stuff works.

Non greasy sunscreen
