Elta Comes Through Again
I am darker skinned with melasma and have struggled finding a facial sunscreen that did not appear chalky against my skin and that actually worked to keep the dark spots away. I've finally found it in EltaMD UV Clear Broad Spectrum 46SPF facial sunscreen. Now I don't leave the house without it on my face and the tops of my hands. Love this product!

Had to search for better result
This was my first EltaMD product. i Loved the smooth application, but had to make sure i rubbed it in very good. There were white streaks against my hairline if not rubbed all the way in. remember to comb eyebrows after application if some sunscreen got on them. Living in Oklahoma it gets pretty heated so i easily sweat. The sweat kills the sunscreen so i had to order me some "sport" or "physical" sunscreen.

Okay replacement of the old EltaMD SPF 45
I was using the old EltaMD SPF 45 until they discontinued it, then I switched to the new SPF 46. It works fine except it's a lot more expensive than the old formula and quality is just about the same. One star off because value isn't the best.

Great sunscreen!
My dermatologist recommended this product about a year ago and I have been using it ever since. I used to also use a primer before putting on make up but no longer need it. I just use the sunscreen and let it dry before applying my makeup. I have acne prone skin and rosacea and have had no problems with it. I purchase it here on the website instead of my dermatologists office :)
