This was first recommended by my dermatologist and the preventive care of vitamin C and vitamin E are definitely in the product. It does have a sticky effect which I assume is the vitamin E. I use it every morning on freshly washed skin, then apply the hyaluronic acid serum, then a good daytime moisturizer, all by SkinCeuticals. After that I use a tinted sunscreen!
