ISO the perfect foundation finish? Whether you’re using a liquid or powder foundation, Jane Iredale’s mineral makeup products make it easy.
Everyone’s favorite makeup artist is back to show you how to apply liquid foundation, powder foundation and more! In this video, Shawn Towne, Global Director of Education and Artistry at Jane Iredale, demonstrates the power of the Jane Iredale Skincare Makeup System.
With Jane Iredale, it’s more about the products than the technique. The Skincare Makeup System makes foundation application effortless with a texture-smoothing primer, a powder foundation that evens out your skin tone and a hydrating setting mist that enhances your skin’s hydration.
Shawn explains how he uses this system each day to create a look that enhances his skin with a wearable finish that lasts from day to night. He starts by applying Jane Iredale Smooth Affair Face Primer in Brightening using the Multiuse Blending Brush. Then, he applies PurePressed Base Mineral Foundation using The Handi Brush. Lastly, he sets the look with POMMISST Hydration Spray.
Jane Iredale offers a range of foundations, each with a formula tailored to suit every skin type and desired finish. If you’re looking for a primer, concealer and foundation hybrid, you’ll enjoy Beyond Matte Liquid Foundation. If you want plumping hydration for daily wear, you’ll like HydroPure Tinted Serum with Hyaluronic Acid & CoQ10. If you want a radiant look with a skin-like finish and sun protection, you’ll love Skintuition SPF 30 Radiance Boosting Liquid Foundation.
First, start with a face primer. Then, using clean hands, a foundation brush or even a sponge, apply the liquid foundation until you achieve your desired coverage. You can top it off with a setting powder and setting spray or apply products on top, such as blush and highlighter. Once your makeup base is complete, you can finish the rest of your makeup look!
